I tend to iron it on a low setting. it makes the fabric very drapey and floppy, it will not be stiff and have much structure afterward. but I think that is one of the better points of acrylic, not a downside!! Not in the true sens...Acrylic is sort of blockable. Not in the true sense because only organic fibers can be really blocked, but it definitely helps to give acrylic a shot of steam, some people call it 'killing' the fabric. Lots of knitters have different feelings about it, but I do it for most of my acrylic stuff.
